Radio Company was formed in 2018 in Austin, TX as a collaboration between Jensen Ackles and Steve Carlson.

The rumours are true. Radio company now has a home on Instagram with a couple of previews of their upcoming album. The album is expected to be out before Christmas, which would be good timing.

Photos on the company’s Instagram show behind the scenes work going into an album. Steve Carlson is shown at the mixing desk, back up singers with Jensen Ackles plus some nice images of the studio with instruments the band are using.

I have a background in music, having sung with Henry Seeley and Darlene Zschech, plus a friend who mixed for INXS. My thoughts are Steve Carlson is worthy of some praise, a lot of hours go into an album and production. The sound, from what I have heard so far, is a contemporary gospel country R&B, which is popular now, especially around Texas. Given that they are in Texas, I was expecting a sound to come out of the heart of music for that area.
